Sub Acute Therapy Wing

The changing face of healthcare has seen some services diminished in hospital settings and those care services transferred to a skilled nursing environment. Between 1998 and 2004, The Village Health Care Center added a state-of-the-art Sub Acute Unit to offer skilled care for residents with medically complex or rehabilitative needs.

Partnering with Innovative Rehabilitation, in our beautifully decorated unit, we offer:

• An enlarged Therapy Gym with private treatment rooms and specialized equipment for rehabilitation
• Physical Occupation and Speech Therapy with geriatric specials
• Whirlpool and Sonic Wave tubs for wound care and physical therapy
• Isolation Rooms as diagnosis dictates
• Separate dining rooms with menu dining catering to individual tastes
• Private family rooms where you can enjoy a quiet meal with a loved one, or a place for meetings
• Uniquely designed resident rooms where each resident has their own window and a private alcove

Our highly trained team of caregivers are up to most any challenge. Our nursing staff and therapists are ready to meet the medically complex needs of this special population.
